I found a blog today with a great section call “Bad MLS Photo of the Day“.  When you are trying to sell your home you want to make it for sale, not on sale.  Buyers will make a decision to come look at your house often based on the first picture of your listing.  Make sure your picture is the best you can to show a buyer what your home has to offer.  If it is summer time, a picture with snow cries out that this listing is never going to sell.  A kitchen counter covered in your stuff sure doesn’t make it look roomy.  Your kid’s painted their rooms some crazy colors, maybe you should skip putting pictures of them up on the MLS and let people see your whole house before deciding on the colors (better yet, paint them before you list).
