According to this article Todd Davis and his marketing gimmicks seem to be working. His company LifeLock, Inc has gone from from 30,000 customers to 500,000 customers during 2007. Revenues also increase to $35,000,000 from $2,200,000. Pretty good results.
All has not been trouble free for Tood Davis, but it hasn’t exactly been all that bad either. Some guy from Texas decided to try and open a $500 pay day loan account using Todd Davis’s identity is all that has happened from posting his information all over the place. That incident actually helped boost business, as they say any press is good press. Davis didn’t lose any money as police caught the man.
