Countrywide Home Loans – Foreclosure Loss Mitigation Contact Information
Another lender I’ve gotten requests for contact information on is Countrywide Home Loans. They are a part of the Bank of America umbrella now, but have their own foreclosure, loss mitigation department.
Nationwide: Call 1-877-744-7691 between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. CST, Monday-Thursday. Who knows why they are not taking calls Friday. After all everyone gets paid Fridays and they would be more likely to have money for the bank. But bankers do need to play their golf. Spanish and English speaking operators are available.
If the property is in California, I feel for you, but you also have your own phone number and times. 1-800-669-0102, with English and Spanish speaking operators available 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday; 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday. Who knows. Maybe they find only California property owners pay their mortgages on Fridays and Saturdays?
I can not say enough, if you are facing foreclosure, please take action, don’t hide. The problem will not go away on its own. Call your bank, be honest with them.
